We stayed here on our travels to/from UK to Alicante. All I can say is the service & food was amazing. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The grounds are also amazing

The room and hotel were clean and well presented, with the exception of the swimming pool which looked in dire need of refurbishment. The restaurant was a stark soulless room devoid of any character or coziness. The menu was rather limited also

We only stated a few hours as we needed a place to stay until the first train to Paris. It was very convenient to the station. Staff helpful and friendly. More information about parking before arrival would have been helpful (cannot park until you've checked in!). Room is quite simple and rather dated. Amboise Is the really close important city unfortunately the day that we arrive to unbeknownst to wash was Leonardo da Vinci’s 500 birthday in the whole city was shut down so we never got to go went to the city as we only stayed two nights
I recomend to take a week to go here, there is a lot to see near by. I only stay 2 nights. Whent before to Paris, but next trip its better only to know the towns, there is a lot of history in the castles.
