"Séjour de 2 nuits. L'accueil à revoir. L'hôte s'est montré quelque peu hautain. La chambre, douche minuscule et mitigeur qui ne fonctionne pas, résultat eau froide. Les volets des fenêtres attachées avec des ficelles claquent et laissent passer le jour. Le service ménage n'a pas été réalisé. L'isolation est à revoir aussi, j'entendais les clients des chambres d'a côté et leur télé. J'ai très mal dormi. Beaucoup trop cher pour la prestation réalisée."

"We stayed 2 nights at Château de la Bourdaisière and loved the setting, but the stay fell short of what we expected for the price. The room was not as clean as it should be, and the paint was in poor condition. The furniture fabrics looked old, worn and in bad shape. The property is beautiful and full of charm, but it clearly needs maintenance and updating. The restaurant was closed during our stay, and there was no food available after hours, so we had to look elsewhere for dinner. It would...

"Superb. Will certainly go back"

"Very enjoyable stay. 25 minute walk to the centre of Amboise. Pleasant staff. Comfortable room. Only criticism was grout needed cleaning in the bathroom."

"Staff"

"Great location, staff & breakfast."

"Elegant, clean, exquisite, and unbelievably beautiful-right on the Loire River and under an actual castle. The staff was incredibly attentive. Hakim was wonderful and offered ideas for favorite sights in Amboise. Valet parking. The restaurants were about a 10 minute walk. It is notable that the walk to and from the active restaurant area is very dark, unlit, at night. The ONLY issue. It was a fairy tail visit."

"Terrible. Bugs and aunts. No one in reception. Very dirty. The staff are not nice."

"Très bon séjour"

"Clean, quiet, safe"

"A cozy hotel with great breakfast, although with some visible wear-and-tear of the furniture/property. Not sure how deep their direct engagement is with the one-starred Michelin restaurant on the property, but the restaurant did not grant us a proper apology or some kind of discount for the 3 small bullets that was found in the duck meat. Biting onto one could have cracked a tooth or affect a filling; didn’t happen but it’s about principles. First time we encounter such a lack of response from...

"This is by far the nicest hotel in the city centre. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is within walking distance to the entire core area. Very quaint place with a pretty garden and pool, which is a rarity for hotels in this area. Would return for sure."
