"While I truly wanted to enjoy my stay here, it was not possible. First the positives: the property is beautiful, the restaurant serves excellent food and wine, and the staff were truly helpful. Unfortunately, the rooms suffer from water damage and ventilation challenges and have a musty smell. I hope that the property can address this issue in the future. Overall, I highly recommend the restaurant but not the hotel."

"I liked the location and the patio. One young girl was very nice when we left our luggages until we left the town for the train station. But the bathroom was really really small and would benefit from small repairs. The access for the family rooms is by stairs, which is a pain with large luggages."

"Well located. Air conditioning worked even in really hot weather. Reception desk staff were responsive and pleasant to deal with."

"Charming hotel in the perfect location! Will dream of coming back! The view out of our window was the papal palace. The quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in even though it is city center. I am sure that was because of the cut stone walls. The breakfast buffet was good and worth the price. But there are plenty of dining options within easy walking. Our train was leaving later in the day so they were happy to hold our luggage after we checked out. Our stay really was perfect!"

"The hotel was comfortable, but the door to the room opens to the outside, like a motel. The breakfast was nice, but the staff had a hard time keeping up with ensuring everything was filled up. The staff was helpful and accommodating."
