"We had a lovely week in Chalet Mon Sousou. Every morning we took the bus to the ski gondel, very convenient in front of the chalet. It is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood surrounded by neighbouring houses. Although the chalet has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and fully equipped, with 7 adults the house is a bit tight, but still cosy. "Staying at Hotel Masson was an absolute delight—choosing this historic gem over a standard chain hotel added so much character to our trip. Located in Veytaux just outside downtown Montreux and practically next door to the stunning Chillon Castle, it offers a wonderful way to experience the distinct charm of the region. Transportation is a breeze with the Veytaux-Chillon train and bus stations close by (just note that the walk up includes a steep hill, though we found Rue Bonivard to be a bit less tiring!). The historical loveliness of the hotel is truly unmatched. It was so much fun to read about the hotel's history, admire the old pictures and drawings, and take in the beautiful antique furniture scattered throughout. Despite being housed in a building with so much history, cleanliness and comfort were never compromised—the bathrooms are nicely updated and the rooms are very clean and comfortable! The property features gorgeous, relaxing spaces to lounge around, paired with amazing views. Above all, Simona, Frank, and the rest of the staff went completely above and beyond with their communication and hospitality to ensure our stay was comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would love to come back!"

"Family stopover for 2 nights. Check in staff were super friendly and helpful, highly commendable. Room was decent size and did everything we needed from in. Loads of activities and things to do. Balcony was on the small size was only grumble but not a deal breaker for us."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The property is beautiful, elegant, and offers everything you would expect from a luxury hotel. What truly makes it exceptional, however, is the staff. Every member of the team showed genuine dedication to ensuring guests have the best possible experience. Their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were outstanding across every part of the hotel. Breakfast was another highlight—beautifully presented, with an excellent variety of high-quality options that should satisfy almost every guest. My only comments concern the room. The view from the premium lake-view room felt more limited than I expected, especially considering the significant price difference. In addition, the air conditioning was not operating during my stay. I understand that the local climate is generally cool, but I still found the room uncomfortably warm until around midnight, and unfortunately the air conditioning did not help at all. Overall, this is an excellent hotel with remarkable service, and I would gladly return. With improvements to the room climate control and clearer expectations regarding the views, the experience would be close to perfect."
