"Everything was ok, but make sure to bring mosquito repellent when you go there. There were multiple bloodstains on the wall around the bed, and it turned out they were all marks left by previous guests killing mosquitoes. I got bitten in more than seven places myself. Also I don’t understand why the owner told me that she sold me the room too cheaply, when we paid the exact price shown on Expedia. If that’s an issue, then she should not accept guests through Expedia."

"I recently stayed at Hyacinth Pension for a two-night trip to Tongyeong. While the view from the bay-facing rooms is lovely and there’s a charming coffee shop and gift store just down the hill, the condition of the property fell well below what was advertised. "연식이 있어서 좀 낡긴했지만 공간이 넓고 항구뷰가 예뻤어요. 수압도 좋고, 냉장고, 마이크로웨이브 등 지내기가 수월했습니다. 직원분들도 친절하고, 도보로 해안도로로 바로 갈 수 있어 아침에 조깅하거나 산책하기도 좋았어요. 시설에 비해 가격도 좋아서 다음에 다시 통영을 방문하면 이곳에 묵을 것 같아요."
