The property is located in a good area of the Dordogne with villages such as Domme, Sarlat and Brantôme within easy reach. The small supermarket 5min drive from the property was very well equipped. The butcher spoke a reasonable amount of English. The pool is a wonderful large size and there are plenty of sunbeds and chairs around the outside table. Since the photos were taken on the website two structures have been added over the beds to provide a lovely amount of shade. The property is very well equipped with crockery, glasses and the like. It is in a good condition albeit it looks a little tired in places and was very cobwebby and dusty. On arrival the pool had not been cleaned which was surprising. Having booked many properties in France before this one via a company was not the best experience we’ve had. Extra charges for linen and towels was an unwelcome addition as we have never paid that in the past. The company was a little unorganized in that we agreed a day for cleaners to attend and the cleaner was told a different day and, they told us the pool was cleaned on a Monday when in fact it was Tuesday. We were also accused of having removed alarms from the pool when in fact it was workmen who attended the property without any prior notice to us. No apology was offered for the accusation until it was requested. All in all a good property but i would not book a company managed property again in the future.
