"I went to jail"

"Do NOT book here. The hotel is closed and has been for some time. After I booked it I saw other reviews of people going there and seeing the property closed / condemned. There's a big red sticker on the door. Why Expedia hotels.com would take money for a hotel they should've known was closed is beyond me. There are several reviews to that affect. What made me upset is that support states there is no guarantee I'll get my money back. That's fraudulent to keep money paid for a product / service...
