Cassley in spate. Even with the water at this height, it is almost beyond belief that the pine tree growing in the rock in the middle of the stream has survived and yet when the melting snows add to the flow, the river could well be several feet higher.1133863 shows this part of the river in these conditions. You can still just make out the tree but the boulder's under water.
