"This is a family friendly place with ample space for the 6 of us to have our own space. AC was wonderful (portable one in the off space but central in the rest). Hot tub got a lot of use, you can see the neighbors but very quite open space which was also great for excitable kids. Wonderful fire pit, stocked kitchen and grill. We plan to go again next year. "Spent a weekend and it was perfect! Private and cozy with a lot of outdoor things to do. Some insects but to be expected. Very clean and well kept. People in general were very nice in town. Very few things to eat so I would suggest bring stuff to cook since it has a full kitchen and all you need to cook. "

"We had a friends meet up at this cabin. We loved the waterfront access and spent a lot of time on the deck enjoying the view. Also love that it was dog friendly. The available kayaks and canoes were a nice plus. Overall it was a pretty good cabin, but the listing makes it seem much bigger than it is. The listing says it's 4000 sq ft, which it is not. We still had enough of room for 6 people and some dogs. The main floor bedroom does not have any windows (which is not apparent from the pictures)....

"Very remote location- having a 4WD was helpful. Place was clean- no spiders or webs. The rental company was easy to communicate with. Would have been nice to have a space heater as the available heating is insufficient. Mattresses are a hard foam (some people may prefer this, but I was up all night). Much of the place has been renovated, but more is necessary. My adult daughter enjoyed our one night stay."

"I had to book a room for my husband for a few nights for work because his usual hotel (25 miles away) was booked out. Not sure what was going on, but this was the most affordable hotel in the area. Now, generally, I dont book the most affordable because "you get what you pay for" but I did it anyway because the others available were over twice as much. My husband called me all excited about how SUPER nice this hotel was!! He said it was so clean and so comfortable that he wished he could stay there for the next week. So very glad I took a chance on this hotel. Highly recommended!"
