We had 1 day to relax before our flight home, and this was the perfect spot. The friendly staff was very accommodating. The hotel has a nice pool and is situated across from a beach club with ocean access. I would highly recommend staying here. Hotel is approximately 25-30 min taxi from the airport. Well worth it in our opinion. Family friendly. We had a double room with beach and pool view. AC worked great, but we still opened our window for one last Italian sea breeze before going back to the Seattle cold rain.

The property and staff were awesome! The location was difficult for navigation into other areas of Italy (ex. Rome) unless you're prepared to walk, or are confident with the bus system. We had a toddler with us so it did make exploration more challenging. If you're looking for touristy sightseeing, Fregene area is not a great spot to stay. If you're looking for small town vibes and pleasant local shop owners, this place was great. A little more of a run-down neighbourhood, Uber is difficult to get in the area. Hotel is across the street from the beach, there are several spots to lounge and pay for chairs/umbrellas or if you go down to the "kite surfing" area entrance there's wide open, sandy beach that seems more utilized by the locals and you won't get badgered to pay for things.

The views from our balcony overlooking the Mediterranean were outstanding. Staff spoke English which was very helpful and the service exemplary. We had dinner in their restaurant which offered many options and was delicious. Before dinner we had a nice, quiet walk on the beach.
