Fantastic hotel. We were welcomed so warmly, and received a complimentary room upgrade! Our room was fantastic, super comfortable and the amenities are better than some higher star hotels I’ve stayed at! The location is superb, super close to the colosseum and plenty of great restaurants. Also easy to walk to all main sights. Breakfast was great too!! Will absolutely be coming to stay again.

The hotel is ideally located on a quiet street in a very central area close to the Colosseum, restaurants, metro, and shopping. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly - ensuring we were comfortable. We especially appreciated the cold water provided on our return to the property during the hot temperatures. Everything was amazing. In the heart of the city. The staff was extremely nice and served you amazing drinks anytime you came to the downstairs restaurant area. They gave us recommendations to the best dining areas around the city. The staff made you feel like family. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were lovely, room was clean, AC was amazing (cold!) in the heatwave. Bathroom was tight but clean and new. Just at the corner is a great restaurant with amazing pizza. Staff will tell you which one to go to. For Colosseum and Roman Forum access you could not be in a better spot. Twenty-five minute walk to Piazza Navona/Trevi Fountain. Twenty five minute walk to Trastevere.

The hotel was conveniently located. Steps away from Colosseum. We can walk to all landmarks except Vatican City. Hotel staff were super friendly and informative. There were a bunch of restaurants near the hotel. Breakfast was great! Don’t forget to take advantage of their complimentary classes/tours!

I can't say enough good things about Hotel Fori Imperiali. The location is unbeatable — just a 3-5 minute walk to the Colosseum, which made it the ideal home base for a busy sightseeing trip. It’s behind a busy road, and feels hidden and VERY safe. All the restaurant near by are fantastic as well. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the air conditioning was fantastic. It got nice and cold, and I slept wonderfully every night. My single room was exactly what I needed — I was mostly out on tours and sightseeing all day, so it was the perfect spot to nap between adventures and get a great night's sleep. Breakfast was a real highlight. Lots of great options, plus good coffee and fresh juices to start the day right. But the real stars here are the receptionists. Every single one was kind and genuinely helpful. A special shoutout to Barbara, Suzy, and Alessia, who went out of their way to help me with reservations, local suggestions, and even adjusting the temperature in my room. That kind of consistent, warm service makes all the difference. The only minor note: there was a slightly strange smell in the building when I first arrived, but it went away quickly and didn't affect my stay at all. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome — you won't find a better location or friendlier staff. I'll definitely be back!
