Very nice place to stay in upscale feeling area, excellent amenities including a great complimentary breakfast with personal service. Would definitely stay here again, highly recommended.
We had a great stay! Staff were friendly and helpful, our late check in was easily accommodated as well. The room was clean and the included breakfast was also lovely!
We loved our stay here. Tatianna is so sweet and very helpful with everything we needed. The location is conveniently located near a train station and it is an easy 20-30 minute walk to the centre of Rome.
We loved our stay here! The location is great. A few minutes walk to the Vatican as well as the Ottaviano metro station if wanting to visit other areas of Rome quickly. The staff were very friendly and communication was easy. The breakfast was delicious and the perfect amount of food. They were ready to make your preferred coffee drink each day too. Daily housekeeping made our beds, changed garbage, etc each day. Many nice extras included in the room such as toothbrushes, shower caps, cotton swabs, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and water available and refilled in the fridge.
Only thing that we found difficult was actually locating it on our first day once we went through the main door. I do not remember getting clear instructions about that. We figured it out based on a comment left by a previous reviewer.
Overall, amazing stay. We would 100% recommend and stay again!
Overall, we had a very good experience at Domina Livia. The property was comfortable and very well located, close to the Vatican and in an area that felt safe. Having a metro station nearby was also a huge plus and made getting around Rome very easy.
The staff was always very friendly, attentive, and helpful, and we really appreciated that they could communicate in both English and Spanish. Breakfast was excellent every day, with fresh, high-quality products, and everything was delicious.
The main area that could be improved was the Wi-Fi in our room, which unfortunately was quite poor. We spoke with the owner, and they were very attentive and made an effort to fix the issue, which we truly appreciated, but unfortunately the connection remained unreliable. When traveling, having a good and stable internet connection is especially important.
We also would have appreciated having fresh towels every day, as they were changed approximately every three days. As an additional suggestion, offering a laundry service would be a fantastic addition, especially for guests who are traveling for several days or weeks.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Domina Livia. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was excellent, and the location was very convenient for exploring Rome and the Vatican. With a few improvements, particularly to the Wi-Fi, it would be an even better experience.
This property was amazing! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had a nice spread with pastries, cereal, and pressed sandwiches, and we were served! The room was clean, spacious and BEAUTIFUL! The towels and the sheets are embroidered with their name, very nice touch. They had slippers for us to use, amenities in the bathroom like razors and toothbrushes, and the best thing for us was a floor fan. We sleep every night at home with fan. We were pleasantly impressed with our stay!
The only negative thing we encountered was trying to find the right door to enter. I believe this information should be shared with guests prior to arrival. If it is listed somewhere we didn’t see it. When you enter the main door, walk straight across the courtyard to the other doorway directly in front of you and it’s on the 2nd floor.
Specious and beautiful room.
Bathroom had great lighting and shower had ample room for movement.
Fridge was always well stocked with Aqua and room fan came in handy for sweltering days to cool down, along with the air-conditioner.
This was my first trip to Rome, and I was a little nervous based on the exterior, but once inside I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, including the bathroom, and offered great value for the price. The water pressure was a bit low, but overall I had a great stay and enjoyed the surrounding neighborhood as well.
