"This was the most beautiful, peaceful place. Such a dream to stay here. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was perfect. Lots of options from fresh fruit to yogurt to croissants to eggs and delicious cheese and meats. View was gorgeous. We also had their dinner there one night and it was excellent food and such a lovely atmosphere. It was hard to leave and I would return in a heartbeat."

Staff helpful when first night and next day ruined by bar below playing loud music till 0200 and then people singing in street till 0400. Helped move room to back of hotel on third floor. Bar didn't repeat. Must have been Saturday night only. First room had good double glazing and shutters but still felt like there were hundreds in the room with us. Roof terrace bar good."

"The flat was lovely. Very clean and tidy with an excellent kitchen. There are 56 steps to get from the street to the flat, not for the faint hearted or infirm! The upstairs bed is extremely low and very hot, with no air conditioning! The shower was good but quite small. An excellent washing machine. We had no communication with the host. I rang someone to get the key safe passcode, who seemed to know little or nothing about the flat. That was it!"
