Schladminger Tauern

On the path from Klaferkessel to Preinthallerhuette (alt. 1.656 m) in the Schladminger Tauern in Upper Austria. Granite peaks are prominent over green cow pastures and meadows with beautiful colourful flowers.
The highest peak of this part of Schladminger Tauern is the Hochwildstelle with altitude of 2.747 metres (peak on the left).

View from the Steyrische Kalkspitze (alt. 2.459 m) towards the lakes in altitude 1.921 meters. Behind them is the main range of Schladminger Tauern with the reddish Rotmandlspitze (alt. 2.453 m) and the cone of Engelkarspitze (2.518 m)
