Listing pictures are old, probably from when the house was built. Paint is faded, decks are worn, steps are loose, pool handbar broken and halfway repaired. Sliding glass doors missing locks and the tracks were filthy requiring 2 hands to open and close. Lights out everywhere, main floor, bathrooms, elevator, entry way. Broken floor tiles in kitchen and dining room, broken blinds everywhere. Cable box in den unauthorized, cable box in queen room missing cable to connect to TV. Missing mattress covers in multiple rooms. Full sized bed instead of queen. Return vents, registers and bathroom fans FILTHY. Whiskers and hair left in 3 bathrooms. Broken drawers, cabinets, toilet paper holders throughout. No wifi code on fridge, on the 3rd day we found it on a second modem in the back corner of the den.
Despite listing CLEARLY stating that all linens were provided, we discovered that they were not and we were sent a quote for over $600.00 for them to provide sheets and towels. Only the initial reservation takes place on VRBO, after that you are forced to use the rental companies website which changes the description, amenities, pay schedules and requirements taking any safeguards and protections offered by VRBO away.
All of this could be overlooked if the rental company would actually communicate, but they won't. After multiple calls and messages, we NEVER got a return call from them. Not prior to our trip, not during our trip, still not to this day. Our advice would be to avoid this rental company at all costs, I don't care how good a deal it appears to be.
