"I booked this for my mom and sister via Expedia. I messaged the property to ask if there is anything I could send them to ensure smooth checkin for them. The property never responded via Expedia. My sister called the day before and was assured there will be no problem. On the actual day, the staff made checkin difficult due to this fact and was challenging who spoke to my sister the day before. It really dampened the impression of their stay. Otherwise, the hotel was an excellent location when you need to do something in the baywalk area. Very close to US embassy. The hotel is old but clean. My sister had no issues with the stay except for the check in experience. The concern is not about being asked proof of checkin. It’s the poor communication."

"Did NOT like the hotel, in a terrible location, too noisy, locals hanging around outside, room too small, bed not comfortable, pillows too hard, i asked reception for soft pillow but didn't get.a bit dated, terrible view, no tea, coffee in rooms, breakfast is rubbish no fruit juice, no fruit, and not much choice especially if you are vegetarian, staff not very well trained for foreign tourist. "
