We had such a fabulous time starting our Roatan vacation at Anthony’s. We didn’t dive ( like most people do).The staff was so over the top friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and cute. We started at the hillside for a few days and then moved over to Anthony’s Key. Both were equally great for different reasons. We had our meals included and everything was delicious and such great service. We did snorkel and enjoyed some right off the property. We paid to snorkel with the dolphins which was such a great experience and even on our other days would take the boat over to Baileys Key just to watch the dolphins play and to grr in the water from that key. I e had fun with the game room and the kayaks and paddle boards. We will definitely be back!

My family’s first time to the island and AKR. Everything was clean and well run. Rooms very comfortable and we spent a lot of time in the hammocks as well. Pick up and drop off at the airport is down to a science. This is a dive resort, there are other activities for non divers, but the schedule of meals:activities do revolve around dive boat schedules- so time for breakfast before the first dive and time for dinner after a night dive. We never went hungry, and always left food on our plate! Large portions and plenty of options on the meal plan. Actual restaurant meals, not buffet style like most meal plan packages. My son highly recommends the chocolate cake -lol. Staff were all friendly and took excellent care of us. Arranged for a tour and a quick run to the grocery at our request. The dive center is well run, everyone gets a locker at the dock to stash their gear, there are dunk tanks, and I felt safe through the entire process. This is away from the crowds of west end and more relaxed, which we prefer.

Comparing the wide type of hotels, this would not be considered a luxury hotel. But if you are a scuba diver, then this is as close to luxury as you will find. They have tons of boats, so can accomodate a huge group of divers. Staff across the board were helpful and friendly. Service was generally quite fast, again considering the number of customers they had. I also enjoyed the food and drinks.

Unbelievable experience! Bungalows over the water are amazing, The staff is friendly and accommodating. We are foodies and everything was absolutely delicious. A totally relaxing vacation. There was no stress booking activities. You can do as much or as little as you want. Snorkeling even right off the resort is world class. Swimming with a baby dolphin unforgettable. Night snorkeling, island party on Wed evening - do not miss. Highly recommend resort. We will be back.

Absolutely Incredible resort! We were met at the airport by hotel staff. Took the shuttle and our bags were waiting for us at the cabin on the small island. Room was fantastic, right on the snorkeling beach. Very clean, comfortable bed. The resort has a fantastic dining area and exceptionally friendly staff. Food was delicious, fresh and quick. Perry, Steven, Erick and Marcos in the dining area were courteous and welcoming. Part of the resort has a separate island with the option to swim with the dolphins, and the boat drivers Connor and Kevin were great. Managers Yolanda and Melloney were awesome! Highly recommend!

A beautiful location run by a local family dedicated to insuring the best experience possible for their guests while supporting local people and ecological sustainability. There are definitely pieces that deserve questions, like the dolphin enclosure, but it is being run as responsibly as possible. On the other hand, they have to use solar array, eliminated single use plastics, host college internships on marine biology, and even hand build their own furniture. It seems like the family, who have even been elected to public office, are trying to balance responsible development against the voracious appetite of the cruise ships and international resort chains. If you are going to stay at any resort, you'd be challenged to find one working harder to do tourism responsibily. The best indicator of management is how genuinely happy the staff seems to be and how many have worked here for decades. My only change would be more options for non-divers, like classes with the local experts who are already part of AKR - local cooks, woodworkers, and artisans. We are already planning our next trip.

What a great spot! I have stayed at several places in Roatan and this is by far one of the best! Super clean! The staff is super attentive and super friendly! Never once did they make me feel like me and my partners were unwanted! Such a lovely spot and super private! 10/10 would recommend!
