Cozy Cabin Retreat on 12 Acres, Gazebo, Fire Pit & Starlink WiFi

"This cabin is located in a beautiful, peaceful, part of Gallia County Ohio. The views are breathtaking. The property is decorated beautifully and has a large gazebo to sit in that looks pretty at nights with the lights on. It also has a grill for outdoor BBQ beside the gazebo. I especially enjoyed how they had the fire pit arranged and outdoor chairs were provided in gazebo as well as a nice picnic table where I enjoyed sitting,reading, and writing while looking at the hills full of trees. The location is very private as well. Inside was stunningly decorated in a country style to accent the setting of the property. It has everything you need in the kitchen and everything was spotless. The shower was my favorite part of the bathroom it has a very nice water flow from a large shower head and very very clean as well. A washer and dryer are provided in the bathroom area as well. They appeared new and washed and dried clothes great. The best part was everything you could need was provided. Paper plates, cups, coffee cups with a top of the line Keurig with the pods provided as well and creamer options in the fridge. I have stayed in many cabins and never seen one that you didn't need to bring anything to. Towels, paper towels, toilet, paper, hand wipes, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies. I could keep going on because the hosts have thought to provide everything and then some. I went for rest and relaxation and left feeling renewed in body, mind, and spirit. A must place to visit."

"I was pleasantly surprised to find that this old motel had been updated nicely. It was clean and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. A small writing desk would have been a nice addition to the room. If I had it to do over again, I would have probably driven across the river and found a place to stay in Point Pleasant."

"Very fun long weekend at a relaxing property with 7 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Three kitchens! Plenty of paper towels and toilet paper! Weird I know, but some rental leave you one roll of paper towels and two rolls of TP! The water was beautiful - just a relaxing getaway!"

"We were looking for a place to invite our children and grandchildren..and Roger & Mary's Lakehouse was Beyond perfect !! Clean, inviting and has an incredible view of the lake! We could watch the kids swim and boat without much worry, ...because the beautiful lake is only few steps from the covered deck. (with ceiling fan)The hosts went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The house was fully stocked (plus tons of snacks)..and the beds were clean and COMFORTABLE!Roger and Mary sent the kids over watermelon and cantaloupe... plus he came carrying a variety of toys for them to play with. My 5 yr old granddaughter buddied right up to him...lolWe Highly recommend this rentaland give the owners a AAA rating. We will rent this home again! NICE FOLKS !!"

"Very clean home, located in rural area. Every amenity you could think of was included. Host was quick to respond to any inquiries, pool was perfect for the 90 degree days. We loved having coffee with the deer and watching rabbits play at dusk. Very comfortable, bright and plenty of room. The grounds are immaculate, landscaping beautiful. We'd happily book again."
