"For the price that was charged, the communication should of been much, much better. We were not told until after the fact that the wifi it says they have we have to pay for separate. The Queen size bed creaked and made so much noise when you turn, it can be heard throughout. Not to mention, very uncomfortable. The 3 of us were the only people in the pool area. We were told to put our masks on and stay 6 ft apart. We were family. They never said a word later when 6 others walked in with no...

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Morgan Hill-San Jose South
8/10 Good
"This was our second time staying at this location and we appreciate how welcoming, accommodating and helpful the staff have always been. We've stayed in an Executive King room as well as a Double-Queen room during our stay.
This time around, the rooms definitely seemed like they needed some TLC. In the first room, the Executive King, the carpet was dingy at the door before walking in, the desk chair was really worn with padding on the armrests missing, the TV's didn't work as well, and the mini-fridge had seen better days (missing freezer section flap, and the little "guard rails" to keep cans or other things positioned in the door). The water pressure was incredibly low in the shower stall, and the shower head settings only allowed a weird spray that didn't wash soap off well. The Double-Queen room, while significantly smaller, was well-maintained, and we enjoyed the shower/bathroom much more. It was a traditional tub/shower combo, but the water pressure was strong, and all the settings worked well. The bedding, towels and pillows were wonderful (clean, fluffy, crisp cotton sheets) in both rooms.
The beds are also quite comfortable, compared to other hotels we've stayed at. Even in a King bed that I shared with my daughter for a couple of nights, anytime either of us shifted or moved, the other didn't feel it.
My daughter always enjoys the breakfast spread in the morning, and I appreciate that there is always hot coffee and fresh fruit enhanced water in the lobby."
"Stayed for 1 night.Excellent clean. For the money its well worth it. Be sure to bring toothbrush/paste, They close the entrance at the back so I have to walk a little far to enter and carry my stuff wish they open it so I could park my car where I can see it from my window and grab my stuff without walking that much. Just soap and towels are provided. For a short stay I would recommend it. You have to drive just a mile or two to eat out which is good. But overall an excellent place to stay."
"Seacliff Inn has a great location, highway access very close and it’s convenient to both Santa Cruz and Watsonville. Rooms were comfortable and well laid out. Grounds were nicely landscaped and perfect for lounging adults and playful children. Our breakfast was delicious and relaxing. Dinner too was tasty and staff couldn’t be any nicer. Seacliff beach is a short drive as are ice cream cones. For the season, I thought room rates were reasonable. Rooms provided peace for sleep."
"It was good for the price and area, rooster woke us up every morning and the walls are THIN you can hear EVERYTHING. I've never stayed at a hotel with such thin walls because I could hear everyone's conversations as I pass by their door and I can hear everyone's conversations conversation as people would pass by our door, and the rooms next door. Just a fair warning but overall a 7/10"
