The Beetson Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The location was perfect for our needs and the room size was great. I’m still not sold on folding louvre doors for the bathroom. I love my partner but I’m not keen on hearing him on the toilet first thing in the morning. The breakfast was great and served to our liking which is much nicer than buffets. The wait staff and reception were very pleasant and helpful."

"Very convenient location for an appointment at the Wesley Hospital. Lovely staff at reception. Good parking. Well presented room. Despite the busy location the room was quiet. We didn’t do any cooking but we reheated in the microwave. The microwave is under the bench and I couldn’t read the control panel but my husband did by getting down on his knees. My other access issue was the shower over the bath which I managed with difficulty. Be aware if this is an issue for you. There’s a very good Chinese Restaurant on the premises. Overall a good place to stay."

"In room cooking, reheating food, close to South Bank. Staff were very helpful and I was able to check in and out quickly. In house porter stored my luggage while I attended a Hospital appointment. Really nice room, relaxing and I would highly recommend The Mantra South Bank to other travellers. Excellent onsite amenities, although onsite parking comes at a premium price which is the only point of concern I have. $50 per night I found to be excessive."
