"Our check in and check out was very smooth. The room was ok. We found a few small ants crawling around the lamp between the beds. There was a smell when we entered the room. No soap was in the bathroom. The lighting in the bathroom was rather dim. Hard to see in the mirror. The beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. Coffee was good and easy to get. Parking was good. Able to park close to door. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

Secluded Cottage with Hidden Cove on Lake Erie

"The view was to die for and the property was so enjoyable and serene. The cottage was rustic but being from the area I get the unique charm of the older homes in the area. The host was very communicative and in my opinion fantastic. The few things to note is the pot, pans, and cooking utensils were extremely basic and so cooking easy meals was a challenge. There is also not a place to hang clothes. These are easily remedied and in my opinion should not deter anyone from renting this unique property…just quirks to be aware of. Please be warned that if you are tall you will hit your head going up the stairs if you do not notice how low the ceiling as you go…which is easy to overlook when you’re tired from a long day or two of travel. Unfortunately my husband hit his head pretty bad taking suitcases to the main bedroom. There is signage on the way down but none on the way up. As long as you’re mindful it shouldn’t be an issue. Overall we had a fabulous time and I would recommend this property to others!"
