"A lovely quiet place perfect for a night away. Clean and comfortable. Great host, always there to help out. Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. Hotels.com were useless at trying to sort that out. But don't hesitate to book this place, just maybe drop them a message about using the hot tub first. "We thought Hintlesham Hall was superb. Every member of staff that we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and eager to please. The accommodation was very clean and our room was well equipped with attention to detail. The breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice and well presented. Afternoon tea was also a lovely experience. We enjoyed sitting in the pretty garden. We will definitely visit again!"

"I didn't feel that the breakfast justified the £13 price, so I probably wouldn't choose that again. The restaurant prices were about what I'd expect for a decent pub meal, and the pie was absolutely delicious – easily the highlight of the food for me. One downside was that the bar and seating area, which was the only comfortable place to sit and do some work on my laptop, closed at 9:30 pm. After that, there was nowhere suitable to work or socialise other than outside, the reception area, or returning to the room. The reception area wasn't really practical for working, and the room itself only had a small table, making it less suitable as a workspace. As a result, once the bar closed, you were effectively confined to your room for the rest of the evening. Would I stay there again? Possibly, if there were no better alternatives available, but it wouldn't be my first choice."

"Great location for a one night stay, clean room and very quiet which was lovely. The aircon was great and I asked for a room away from the room which was supplied. Troy on reception was amazing great customer services which is very rare. Would I stay again yes I used it for a nights stay after a great day at Jimmy’s farm. Car park was good and cost £7 for the whole time"

"Pleasant hotel with spa facilities about 20 minutes drive from Norwich. Having a good size pool with steam room, sauna and jacuzzi was really useful. Breakfast was excellent - usual buffet with the addition of cooked to order items such as avocado toast, eggs Benedict, etc. Lack of aircon in the bedrooms was a serious deficiency - not helped by the room being fairly small. Bathroom was very cramped. Lack of a fridge was also a disappointment. Especially as there was a cupboard under the TV obviously designed to hold a fridge. On the whole I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to be in close driving proximity to Norwich and wants spa facilities - but steer clear of warmer months."
