"Room was clean, well maintained, nice hot shower & comfy bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits and a decent size cup are always a plus !
Solo female travelling for work. Only stayed for one night but had everything I needed. Felt reasonably safe.
Only issue was the 2nd cottages directions sign was on the right hand side of road & obscured by a tree branch, so I didn’t see it & my sat nav took me left at the end of the rd & up a very tight private road to a bungalow based on the post code.
Not ideal …....
"My overall assessment on the stay would rate it no more than a three star. There are some minor maintenance issues that need to be looked into. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Food was very good and the full English was excellent. The idea of filling out what you wanted for breakfast the previous day was not really how I would like it as this might change, I would prefer to decide on the day. Conclusion: The accommodation was a little tired and in need of a spruce up."
"Stunning location, right by the river - lovely views from bedroom and breakfast room. Easy, flexible check-in which was very helpful and breakfast was delicious. There is a lovely pub close by, about a 5 minute walk that did great food and nice wine. Thank you for a lovely stay!"
"Kel and Mel made us feel very welcome when we arrived. Gave us ideas about what we could do. We enjoyed a day walking along the canal and the next day to a local sites.
The Breakfast was excellent."
