A great hotel right in the heart of the Old Town.

Michael was very warm and welcoming. The property is right in the heart of the old town and full of character. There is a small supermarket next door and a friendly restaurant below.

Budsjettferie, 7 dager, anbefales!

Vi betalte 40 euro per natt for to personer. Dette er billig i Rhodos by. Hadde ingen store forventninger til denne prisen. Veldig hyggelig og service-innstilt han som driver stedet. Greie fellesområder. Rommene er små og simple, noen har en liten balkong. De inneholder dog det som er nødvendig. Du får ett lite kjøleskap, håndklær, gratis såper, gratis aircondition, vannkoker, hårføner osv. Rent sengetøy og rengjøring er også inkludert. Du må be om rengjøring dersom du oppholder deg på rommet hele dagen. De går ikke bare inn mens man oppholder seg på rommene, på dagtid. Vi sjekket også inn tidligere enn avtalt på kort varsel uten problem. De oppbevarer bagasje gratis før innsjekk om du kommer tidlig/etter utsjekk til avreise. Ting som kunne vært bedre, men til prisen du betaler så er det vel heller bagateller. Ofte bare kaldt vann i dusjen, med mindre man dusjer på natten når andre sover. Samt litt dårlig vanntrykk. Mangler dusjforheng så hele badet blir vått (tørker etter 1 times tid med ventilasjon på). Aircondition på rommet kjøler ikke veldig bra, men det blir mye kjøligere enn det er ute. Hotellet ligger meget sentralt i Gamlebyen som er positivt, men det ligger rett på andre siden av en bar som spiller høy musikk. Dette kan være til sjenanse for noen da de holder på til mellom kl 04-06 hver morgen. Så dersom du er på utkikk etter en billig ferie på Rhodos bør du vurdere dette! Du får selvsagt det du betaler for, men her får du mye for pengene her!

À éviter

Dans la vieille ville de Rhodes, dans des ruelles touristiques et les bars, la musique s’est arrêtée à 4h du matin. Dans la chambre la climatisation ne fonctionne pas, les prises électriques et les lampes de chevets non plus. Impossible de recharger mon téléphone portable. Une nuit étouffante grâce à la température et au bruit. Hôtel pour les fetards !

Proprietario premuroso e gentilissimo, peccato per la struttura che avrebbe bisogno di una bella manutenzione!! Da rivedere, le docce e i sanitari, l’aria condizionata, ecc.. La nostra camera affacciava su un disco pub, musica alta fino all’alba!

There was a worker all the time present and available. He was willing to solve issues that came up. The location was great. The room price was decent for budget travelling. The sewer issue in the bathroom was very disturbing as the waste water came flooding into bathroom floor several times during the week! The smell it brought to the whole room was disgusting. This mainly happened in the evening and lasted until the morning. Some days were better. Same kind of smell was also coming out of the street sewers from time time, so maybe the problem was wider.

Kalacağı otelde konfor arayan, oteli dinlenme ve uyuma mekanı olarak görenler için uygun olmadığını düşünüyorum. Old town'ın merkezinde olması sebebiyle gürültü sabaha kadar eksik olmuyor. Odayı saat kaçta boşaltacağımın bir gün önceden başlayarak 2-3 kez sorulması da bir müşteri olarak hoşuma gitmedi.

Very reasonably priced hotel with modest accommodations. There was some noise at night with the local bar, but it did not bother me. The room is small but clean. The bathroom is small with no shower curtain, so this requires some coordination. However, besides the wet bathroom floor because of the shower, I was very comfortable here. And Michael, the manager, is very welcoming and accommodating with any inquiries. It is not a lot, but so reasonable for the price and modest expectations.

Hotellet i Gamla stan på Rhodos är okej! Mikael som jobbar där var mycket hjälpsam, och trevlig! Bodde 14 nätter där. Hotellet ligger perfekt, nära till allt!

Nice hotel in the heart of old town, close to port

If you want to "feel" how is to live in the medieval old town, staying on the budget - this hotel is a good choice. Yes, it may be very loud in the evening and night (a karaoke bar near hotel, so ask for a room far from it, or close windows, the AC is good), but in the morning is a special feeling when exiting from the hotel you see the old artifacts if ancient temple or church just in front of you. If you have big luggage (2-3 suitcases), the room may look small and difficult to move between if you stay longer than few days. Also need to take in consideration that there is no place to dry things (for ex. beach towel or swimsuit). No breakfast is available in the hotel! But there is a nice hall inside building with tables and chairs, where you can have your own meal. Also, close to the hotel is a local restaurant for lunch and dinner, and also a greek patisserie (the smell of freash bread waiking up you in the morning is amaizing!!) where you can have breakfast at reasonable price. The hotel is clean, toiletries and towels provided, but hot water in late night may be limited (it may be just warm, which is ok for summer time). There is a kettle for boiling water and tea/coffee/sugar in the room, also a fridge and TV with multilangual channels - great for this price. I would like to return again if it's a short stay - 2-5 days).

Rooms are Small and boiling hot

My "Stay" here was a disaster. When I arrived I had to call a number on the front of the Hotel door and wait 10 mins for the hotel manager to arrive. He showed me to my room which had only just enough room for the bed and nothing else. He explained if I want air conditioning on i must close the window which is obvious. They have it rigged up so of the window is open the aircon is switched off if you close window it switches on again. Anyway I closed the window waited for two hours and there was no change in the temperature it was like a sauna. It was way hotter in that room than it was outside the aircon was just blowing air it was about 30 years old and didnt work. It was soo hot I couldnt bare it i actually had to leave at 11.30pm and drive to another hotel. The manager said sorry but offered up no solution or refund. Really I understand times are hard for the tourism industry but if you want satisfied customers you need to modernize air con units are not that expensive you can get them pritty cheap replace the aircon units let your guests have abit of comfort and people will return and leave good reviews

Για τι τιμη του αξιζει

Εκπληκτικη τοποθεσια ακριβως στο κεντρο της παλιας πολης.... Το δωματιο ειναι μικρο με ενα πολυ ανετο κρεβατι καλης ποιοτητας και εχει ολα τα βασικα οπως σαπουνι σαμπουαν με αφρολουτρο πιστολακι για τα μαλλια πετσετες κτλ.... Στο δωματιο επισης υπαρχει ενα μικρο χρηματοκιβωτιο.... Το ξενοδοχειο δεν διαθετει ασανσερ ουτε 24ωρη ρεσεψιον... Το μονο αρνητικο οτι τα σεντονια φαινονταν παλια και βρωμικα σιγουρα θελουν αλλαγη... Επισης ειχε και μυρμιγκια μεσα στο δωματιο...

Perfect location

Perfect location litterally at the center of the old town... In the area there are a lot of pubs and restaurants... There is a supermarket nearby.... Small room but very comfortable and good quality bed... Without elevator or balcony only a window... Have the basic (hair dryer, shampoo products etc, also you can make a coffee or tea) the only negative it wasnt very clean the sheets looks dirty... Also had some ants and bugs inside the room (i dont know if they enter via the open window)

Budget hotel in the centre of old town , clean comfy bed . Nick was nice and helpful with many tips. All u need is few mins walking away .
