Svala Apartments consists of eight beautiful apartments on 3 floors, located on Laugavegur, Reykjavík’s main shopping street. All the apartments are modern and have everything you might need to make your stay luxurious and comfortable.

The Space:
Svala Apartments have two large studio apartments. These modern apartments are large studios with four single beds (can be arranged together to create a double bed setup) and comfortably sleep four persons. The studios are 41 square meters and splits into two sleeping areas, a fully-equipped kitchen and a private bathroom. Bed linens and towels are included.

Check in at your own convenience with our simple self-check-in process. Check-in details will be sent via email before arrival, and support is available 24/7 if needed.

The Neighborhood:
Located on the main shopping street, the apartments are close by to every attraction of Downtown Reykjavik including the Rainbow street, the famous Hallgrímskirkja Church, not far from the Harbour.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Only problem we had was the loud people walking down the street and the fire alarm going off and the rude security guard who came to deal with it. Read their property info before going. Lots you need to know about staying there. Fabulous space for independence and freedom. Like having a home away from home. Close to the downtown life and shopping.
Stayed 5 nights in Aug 2025
