Hôtel la Source Bleue

"We spent one night at La Source Bleu whilst travelling through France. What a fantastic hotel. Nathalie and the team (Sandrine, Amina and Julien) are very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was very nice, and a lot of thought has gone into furnishing the hotel as a whole. There is a great backstory to the hotel, which is very much a family business, and the setting is absolutely wonderful with a stunning lake filled by a natural spring. The evening meal was superb thanks to the amazing chef (and owner) Francois. We would thoroughly recommend the hotel and look forward to returning in the future."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Essoyes. Tout s'est très bien passé du début à la fin.Le séjour a été très agréable et reposant. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme qui entoure les chalets, un véritable havre de paix. Quel plaisir de voir les chevaux juste au pied du chalet .Les promenades au milieu des vignes sont magnifiques, avec des paysages à perte de vue qui invitent à la détente et à la découverte de la région.Un grand merci à Gérard, notre hôte, pour son accueil , sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse tout au long du séjour.Nous recommandons cette location sans hésiter et reviendrons avec plaisir !"

"Everything was fine - our room was authentic and high spec in the best way - separate bathroom and wc top class -but it was too dark having a small low down window- you couldn't see out of it without bending down - I guess this was the basic accommodation. I wouldn't particularly want to stay in that particular room again but would certainly stay in a room with a proper window. We had an aperitif in the lovely garden and then the basic set menu in the restaurant and it was excellent. There are nice grounds and pools etc. It is a little off the beaten track but we loved it."

"Nous avons été très bien accueilli. Merci à nos hôtes. La maison est parfaitement équipée et très bien placée. La piscine et la terrasse sont très agréables. On a passé un excellent séjour dans ce village et les alentours que nous avons découvert avec plaisir. Le joli village mérite le détour et les paysages sont magnifiques."

"Very easy check-in with access to the car park, reception staff very welcoming and spoke perfect English. Room was big and plenty of space for the dog. No kettle in room and no hotel bar. "

"Breakfast fresh but coffee was bad. Room. Ice and quiet but bathroom shower not working properly and floor tiles loose. Lovely gardens and good safe parking. I really like this hotel but the refit has been done on the cheap which is disappointing. The bed is less comfortable than before."
