"The location was great in terms of being so close to the Ave of the Giants, however the lodge was right on the highway so there was some noise, but not much. Not all cottages are created not created equal. We were given a cabin that was not at all what was indicated in the photos. There were two bedrooms w/no livingroom or kitchen. We were able to upgrade for a little more money and found the "new", roomier accomodations very comfortable. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked...

"Friendly desk staff, and immaculately clean room. We stayed in the lodge/motel. It was so cozy and looked out on a beautiful redwood grove. The pub had great food and a kind staff as well. This was the first stop on our honeymoon and it was awesome!"

We pulled around, and I entered the last four digits of my telephone number into the keypad, which appeared to have been damaged or dug into with some sort of sharp metal object, only to discover that either the number had never been put...

"This place is a hidden gem in the redwoods! The bed is so comfortable, as are the soft pillows and thick towels. Everything was perfect, including the sweetest visiting cat, who sat outside with us on occasion! A 10 minute drive from town takes you to this private paradise in the forest. We would definitely visit again."
