"We thoroughly enjoyed a 2 week honeymoon at Casa Cook El Gouna on ‘half board’. There was a big variety of food to choose from each day and the restaurant chefs & waiters went above and beyond to cater to your needs. The staff in general were accommodating from the moment of arrival until our check out. The resort includes various optional/complimentary experiences week to week, which really adds something special to your stay. The spa area is very relaxing and we really enjoyed having massages.
The resort itself is located in the private area of El Gouna, which is its own little exclusive paradise, in the middle of many beautiful lagoons, pretty harbours and other resorts.
Our only downside was that renovations were being made to the front beach pool area and the gym during our stay, which meant we couldn’t use these facilities - a discount or compensation of some kind should have been offered if the full resort experience was not going to be possible.
Other than this, we loved our experience and would love to return in future."
