"We had an amazing stay and would book again in a heartbeat. The location is fantastic, just a short walk to Third Crossing, so river access was easy all week. The land is gorgeous with tons of open space, and our two dogs had a blast running around, this place is truly pet-friendly, not just in name. We saw all kinds of wildlife too, a great bonus for the whole family.The house was spotless top to bottom when we arrived, one of the cleanest rentals we've stayed in. It's also genuinely family-friendly, with plenty to keep everyone entertained: a firepit, board games, yard games, and a big covered patio we used constantly. No pool or hot tub, but we didn't miss it since the free river access is so close. Tip: drive down to drop everyone at the river first, then park behind the property gate and walk down, much easier than carrying gear the whole way.The host really made the trip. On our last day I got a flat tire and had to run into Leakey to get it fixed. They were incredibly understanding, offered a late checkout without hesitation, and responded to every message almost instantly.Highly recommend this place for a family (and dog-friendly) getaway. Beautiful land, spotless house, great location, and a host who genuinely cares about their guests."
