"My husband and I found ourselves with a couple of childfree days around my birthday and decided we wanted a quiet place to unplug during the day, relax, and watch scary movies at night without fear of waking up little kids. "Very lovely surroundings and place to stay"

"Lovely spot right on river. Trout fishing all around area."

"We enjoyed the campground very much. A little lacking in facilities but location makes up for it in spades!"

"If 6 stars were possible I would rate Kathi & her property 6’s across the board. Spectacular views of the night skies with no ambient light. Terrific lodging & set/up! Convenient to excellent dining, state forest trekking, fly fishing, & relaxing all in the same “package”.Planning another fall visit & trying for some nights next year already."

"The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back!"

"Host family was extremely nice easy to work with and very accommodating."

"Great, private location with a beautiful view at a perfect price"
