"I regularly work in Reading and when I get the chance, I will stay in the Market House. I’ve stayed in a few of the other Reading central hotels and this is my favourite for the price and comfort. Rooms are always really clean, showers are nice and hot and I get a good night’s sleep. Andreea the host is very welcoming too!"

"The room was excellent. Decor was nice but one over done. I did not feel I was staying in a hotel. The shower room was bright with a frosted window giving natural daylight. My room had a fridge and snacks available in the room. I needed a few more blankets and I was easily accommodated. The staff were lovely and obliging. I truly wish I had more time to spend here and explore. I will be back. "

"Lovely clean, comfortable hotel right in the centre of Reading, only a short walk away from the train station. The bed was very comfortable (a firm mattress, as I like it). Breakfast options were abundant and the quality was excellent. Overall this place is great value for money, will definitely stay here again!"
