"The hotel is old but well kept in terms of cleanliness. We are used to having toothbrush kits available even in small inns so we were disappointed that it was not available here. No drinking water too and resto was not open early for breakfast."

"Cigarette stench permeated every part of the allegedly non-smoking property. First-floor guests sit outside their motel-style rooms and smoke, and the AC units draw their foul fumes in to saturate the furniture and walls. The rooms and stinky corridors seem as if they haven’t been updated since Clinton was president. There surely are better options, even at the sub-$100 price point."

"We had a good time staying in Mineral Wells. The breakfast staff and hotel staff in general were helpful and very friendly. The property needs some maintenance and updating. The door to my bathroom would not close all the way, broken tiles and air conditioners need a good cleaning. The door to open the room was also not well aligned and had to be forced open/closed. The hot tub was closed for maintenance."
