"Lovely hotel in a great location for exploring"

"The pool is shared with a gym and for folks who are from the US you need a swim cap. The desk staff was perfectly helpful but there is no information about amenities in the room and they don’t provide any info about what you can do in the hotel. The front desk ladies all seemed brand new to the job though. Room was nice though."

"This was a great place! The car park was around the back of the building with plenty of spaces. The room was clean and well maintained and the bed was comfortable. We ate in the bar restaurant and the food was delicious. Our waiter, John, gave us excellent advice on things to see and do in the area and Trish, one of the managers, went above and beyond with hospitality. I’d definitely stay here again."

"clean and spacious room."

"Overall, we had a great stay. The room was huge and the beds were very comfortable, although dated with furnishings. This wasn’t really an issue because it added to the overall charm of the place. The breakfast was amazing. Don’t even think of getting a package that doesn’t include breakfast. It was marvelous. The bathroom door, floor, and shower were dirty; the tub bathmat was rolled-up and placed in the shower soap dish; the shower curtain was filthy; the tub showed signs of water damage; the plumbing was weak and lacked siphon power. The carpet was dingy and wrinkled. From the...

"Great stay! Wonderful staff, building, breakfast and room. Nice little walk to town."

"Overall, a very nice hotel with clean rooms , friendly staff and it’s about a 15 minute walk to the center of town . The town was very busy with car traffic , so I’d suggest parking at the hotel to make it very stress free ."

"Hotel is just a walking distance to town centre where you can browse around . Staff are friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable . It was a nice overnight stay."

"Just as advertised. Charming!"
