"Animal and Environmental harm caused by employees I recently stayed at Silver Sand Resort on Havelock Island and was deeply disturbed by what I witnessed. Several times, I saw resort employees throwing rocks at stray dogs that were calm, friendly, and non-aggressive. The island dogs are well accustomed to tourists, and Havelock Island is also widely known to be rabies free. "The location of the hotel is really lovely and pleasant on the shores of the beach/sea, but the rooms given to us were in conditions, worth for zero rating on any count, except the sitout area.
