"Absolutely amazing place to stay. Kevin was so good. He definitely went the extra mile for us. It was on the other side of the river so it made it secluded and away from the people in the city. Great place to stay would definitely stay there again."

"A spacious and unique house with character - I was concerned when I read a review about it being run-down and dated, but that person must have been expexting a Hyatt. This house is right on the river with a wonderful veranda around the side and back, screened porches at each end of the house, a large well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The eclectic color scheme in the rooms was delightful and there were amazing artifacts and artwork everywhere you looked. The grounds were lovely with lots of native plants and a small platform at the river to sit. The pool wasn't large but had a great deck, partially covered, with a an outside kitchen. The best part though was when the howler monkeys brought their babies to visit on the neighboring veranda - incredible. When i move to Belize next year, i hope i can find a home just like this."

"Michelle and Scott were wonderful hosts. So kind and knowledgeable about the area. They picked us up from the airport and took us to the grocery store for snacks and such and made sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t have set plans upon arriving so we took their suggestion to visit Lamanai and it was the perfect recommendation. The Gecko Bungalow grounds are so lovely; well decorated and comfortable. There’s lots of lighting accents everywhere and the pool in the courtyard with the swim up bar made us want one in our own pool."

"I just want to say that Vinny is truly one of the nicest Airbnb hosts I’ve ever met. She made us feel so welcome, even though we only stayed for one night. I absolutely loved the B&B — it was cozy, comfortable, and such a pleasant experience overall. I’d definitely stay there again! If you’re planning to explore the Ladyville area, I’d recommend renting a car since it makes getting around much easier. Overall, this video is just to highlight how wonderful our stay was — Vinny is an amazing host, and her property is beautiful. "

"The entire place is so well-designed and nicely lighted at night so the area can be enjoyed well after dark. The pool was sparkling clean and just perfect for relaxing with lounge chairs in the water. Our unit was very comfortable - great air conditioner and fan - and the decor is very cute. The owners are so helpful and friendly and very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed."
