"Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Parking was well organised. Breakfast was well catered for. Room was very nice, a good size and nicely decorated with a big bathroom. Good location and easy to walk to town etc. so didn't need the car once we arrived. No mention on booking of the work going on at the hotel, which would be good to have known."

"The location of the hotel is good, close to city centre, railway station and The Barbican. Car parking is good and reasonable price. Reception is very welcoming and staff very helpful. Our double room seemed a little dated in furniture and underneath the desk were a lot of biscuit crumbs which then makes you think the room wasn’t cleaned properly. Reported to reception and they dealt with problem immediately. Bathroom also very dated and basic. Comfortable bed. Unfortunately the windows were of a poor quality and they rattled constantly through the night due to windy conditions. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the bar was very comfortable and welcoming. Overall disappointing but willing to stay again if standard of room could be improved."

Breakfast was amazing and again the staff were lovely. Great location for accessing parts of Plymouth on our trip. Highly recommend and would certainly stay here again."
