"Hotel was average. The room was so bright because there were no blinds. Needs to be modernised and refurbished. Good location for central Catania."

"The hotel is in a lovely spot, overlooking the sea, but there is very little around and about…everything seemed to be shut (end of May). The rooms are nice, if a bit dated, and the pool area is clean and well kept. Only thing was the noise from the building work on site meant you couldn’t really relax easily on the sunloungers. Food was lovely - great breakfast."

"We had a great stay here for 3 nights. The pool area is lovely and the staff were all really helpful and friendly. We didn’t have the breakfast but we had snacks at the pool which were great. The hotel is a little way out of town in a quiet area so it’s around €17 - €22 each way in a taxi inc a tip to get into the centre of town by the elephant statue. There’s a bus stop around 10 mins walk away and a Tabacchio near there to get your bus ticket. I would also recommend you take the hotel up on their helpful offer to arrange your airport transfers as their option is about €10 cheaper than flagging a cab at the airport. For the price of the hotel and the lovely pool it’s worth being a little way out of town."

"When we first checked in the girl that was helping me said our room was not ready, then our friends who checked in next got their room, then the next friends got their room, then all of a sudden our room was ready and supposedly we were given a upgrade for the wait. I thought it was odd as others in our group got their rooms, upon check in. Anyhow, the other girl at the counter, Alessandra, I believe her name was, was amazing. She gave us, restaurant ideas and made a reservation for the 6 of us at a place called Bella.. it was great and she also booked us a car for the airport the next morning. She was very nice and professional, with personality. Not like the gal that checked us in. Our room had a view of a roof . Was not a bad room. It was clean and had a decent shower. Was a stop over for the night before returning home. Plus, we had bathrobes and slippers and my sister appreciated that. Over all it was a good location to get out, shop, eat and enjoy. Thank you. The breakfast was nice as well."

"Overall, have been to nicer hotels (and nicer cities for that matter) but, and it's a big one, the hotel staff was exceptional across the board, in particular the reception team. Truly super helpful and accommodating and it was greatly appreciated. Hotel also has a nice outside area where you can grab coffee and drinks pretty much all day long, we've spent a good amount of time there as it was pleasant. We didn't make it there but spa looked nice too and the prices were incredibly fair. Within walking distance to all the main attractions and the restaurant right across from it is phenomenal. If you do stay in Catania, you won't regret staying there."

"Efficient and helpful reception team. Terrific restaurant. Managed a swim in the outdoor pool. Nice place to stay if you’re arriving the afternoon before flying out of Catania Airport the next day."

"Staff was great. Room was clean. But my worse lifetime experience in a hotel that has rooms where you can’t sleep. My room was facing an open street terrace with the extreme late night noise and a farmers market for the very early setup noise. Couple this with garbage/recycing pickup and street cleanup at 4am, it impossible to sleep because the windows are not soundproof. During daytime the room is much quieter…"
