I appreciated that the property was not a big hotel. The property was clean, the room size was great for 2 persons, with 2 comfortable beds, and it was quiet at night. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. Location for perfect for us, close to Duke University.

The staff were wonderful. Really kind, helpful people. The hotel is good, reliable, clean, all that. It’s connected to medical facilities so it’s sort of “for” that, and it does have a bit of a clinical feel. It’s not one of those with an exciting check in experience or anything. No vibe of people going out to have fun touristy experiences. I was here for a conference but it was almost a little too sedate even for that. But if you’re visiting loved ones who aren’t well, it’s ideal, you don’t want all that horsing around and laughing and such going on around you anyway. I meant what I said about the staff, they were just the best.

I love the location and the free shuttle. It takes you to the hospital but also to restaurants within an3 mile distance. Minor problem was the drain plug on the tub didn't work so you can't take baths.

We go to Durham to visit our daughter at school there, and we just sleep and shower there. This hotel is clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Staff is nice. Covered parking for $0-$5/night depending on which platform you reserve with.
