This is a classic Tuscan property, built centuries ago, but equipped with all modern updates. The staff is friendly and extremely willing to go out of their way to help. The dining area for breakfast features breathtaking views of the hills and vineyards of Tuscany. The location in the ancient city of Radda is another plus as there are countless dining options nearby, and some of the finest wineries of Tuscany are within a 10-20 minute drive. They are rebuilding their pool so swimming is not possible, but that is a nit given what else the area has to offer. Basically, if you are in this area of Tuscany, this hotel is well worth using as your base from which to visit nearby sites.

We experienced excellent customer service during our time spent on this property. Our only complaint is our room was not what showed on their website (deceiving). We must have had an older room that needed updating including the shower that had very low pressure. Otherwise, great staff.

Only positive points : great location and free parking. The hotel is outdated, breakfast basic quality and even the restaurant was closed in August month without being informed. You will have the opportunity to take a shower without any door ( !!) putting water everywhere on the floor. Should be a 2 star hotel

This was a nice unique hotel in located in the Heart of Chianti Region in Tuscany. The property itself is very nice, almost as if you are staying in the Estate of the Winery fields that fall away behind the villa. Breakfasts were very good. The Bed was comfortable and the shower very nice. The biggest downside was the brochure showed the pool and when we got there it was under reconstruction. Given how nice and warm it was when we were there that was a big dissappointment. The little village in Rada where the hotel is located is very walkable with fantastic views and some excellent restaurants. Parking, always a challenge in Italy was private and easy and very much appreciated! To stay at this location you really need a car. It is in the middle of Tuscany and touring anywhere requires a car, or a lot of arranged drivers.

We both got amazing massages from Natalie, the staff helped me figure out how to get to Rome after, the rooms were GORGEOUS, the pool was spectacular and got great poolside drinks, and the food/wine was the best!!! Stay here for a romantic and relaxing getaway surrounded by Tuscany’s beautiful rolling hills and vineyards. Would definitely come back!
