"The Andel Lodge was a gem of a find! My sister and I stayed there on Tuesday 19th May and we were so impressed with everything! The decor was lovely, everywhere was spotlessly clean and our twin room was so cute! "My family and I enjoyed our two nights at the lodge. The rooms and the ensuite bathroom are neat (though there was no toilet brush) and have got its own television. The kitchen also has a sitting area to relax, a dinning and its own television, all basic cooking utensils are available. Most importantly the gentle man in charge was reachable, responsive and respectful. If I were to visit Kings Lynn again I'll definitely lodge here."

"We absolutely loved our room and it had a wonderful comfortable bed and it was very quiet despite being a pub. The staff that we met were pleasant and helpful. We were disappointed with the food, we did not feel that either the dinner or breakfast that we had represented value for money. I ordered porridge in the morning and it was lukewarm and my husbands full English looked more like a half English. We stayed for 3 nights and needless to say we only had one dinner and one breakfast at the hotel."

The Grange Manor House, Norfolk - perfect for large family gatherings.

"A group of friends and I stayed at the Grange over the weekend for a friend's birthday celebrations. The house was incredible, lots of space, beautifully decorated and with large grounds including a tennis court. The host, Gerry, was helpful and communicative before our stay. Mike, the property manager, checked us in and was available for any questions we had. He also set up a cable for us to plug in the mechanical bull we had organised during our stay. Overall, I would highly recommend staying at The Grange!"

"This is a wonderful example of historic English buildings that have been updated for modern stays without losing their architectural quirks and historical oddities. Not ideal for people with limited mobility, but we enjoyed ducking under low lintels and walking over uneven floors, some of which have been around for several centuries. Our room was clean and well-provided, and though there was a leak in the clean-water part of our toilet the owner told us that the required part was on order and it was never a huge issue. We stayed two nights. The first morning there were a couple of young lads manning the breakfast kitchen, and they were efficient if a little absent. Sitting at the mouth of the giant fireplace in the back room was lovely, and definitely inspired us to come back that evening for the sticky toffee pudding written up on the menu board above the mantlepiece. We didn't eat supper there, we had plans with local family, but the pudding was excellent. Sounds of the Bingo game floated up to us as we went to bed - but this was our first day from Central Time (US) and we went early. The second morning the owner was on breakfast duty. It was a Wednesday and not particularly busy, so he came over and chatted with us and even played with our four-month-old so that Mama could eat without holding him. The full English was really good both days, too. Go Travelodge for a pad to land on; come to the Ostrich for a leisurely taste of English heritage."

"Flint Cottage was absolutely perfect for myself, my sister and our dogs. Such bc a nice touch to face a Welcome Hamper fit us all! A beautiful cosy cottage with every modern amenity you could need. Good quality equipment, comfortable beds and such lovely personal decor. Loved the paintings! The location is ideal for visiting many local attractions, I.e,, Sandringham, Welles-next-The-Sea and the beaches and Nature Reserve. We would definitely come back again! ."
