Hotel Gettysburg

10/10 Excellent

"We loved how it was right on the square. It was in a historic building so had a great vibe with a gas fireplace. Needs some repairs to the ceiling but we totally loved the atmosphere and history of the place. We would definitely stay again!"

Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Chambersburg

"Was a great and affordable hotel to stay in until 3 days into our stay we were told we would have to move to another room because we have a service dog and there's an apparent issue with having a dog and a room with a balcony. Mind you my dog wasn't out on the balcony for more than 5 minutes in 3 days but we were out there with her and she isn't going to jump. She also doesn't bark or do anything for there to be a reason to not allow us in that room. This would be understandable if it was told to us upon check in being that they were aware of the dog but to expect us to move everything to another room that doesn't even have windows that open and to pay the same price is just ridiculous. I feel discriminated upon due to the fact I have a service animal."

Inn at Cemetery Hill

10/10 Excellent

"The location is wonderful to get around to several shops and museums and we ate at Dobbins restaurant one evening and lunch at their tavern. The Gettysburg battlefield tour bus meeting place was literally across the street. The staff was very nice and said we could stay parked during our bus tour which was nice the bus tour place had plenty of parking as well. After the bus tour we ate some lunch outside on the picnic tables offered by the Cemetery Hill Inn. We had a nice room & the king size bed was very comfortable compared to all our other hotel stays in DC & Philadelphia . We definitely would stay here again in the future."
