We had rented a car for a day trip outside Hamburg and had no trouble finding nearby street parking for the evening before returning it the next morning. Our room was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, which made for a comfortable stay. One detail we appreciated was the option to decline housekeeping in exchange for complimentary drinks at the bar. We stopped in briefly before the symphony on our first evening and again before heading to the train station at the end of our stay. The espresso martinis were consistently well made and a nice touch. There are a few practical areas where improvements would make a noticeable difference. The room felt warmer than expected, and the air conditioning did not cool particularly well, so we ended up opening the window. We were also surprised that an iron and ironing board were not readily available, particularly for guests attending concerts or other formal events. "After a bumpy start at another hotel that was not wheelchair accessible, we checked in at the Hamburg Marriott Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They set us up with a nice and quiet room and provided parking right out front to ensure we could access our vehicle when we needed it. We didn't eat at the restaurant, but had drinks at the piano bar. It was very relaxing and the drinks were delicious. I highly recommend a stay at this location. It is walking (or wheelchair) distance to all the main things you want to see in the Hamburg city center. I will definitely book here first when we go back. "
