"Grosse déception pendant notre séjour !! Vacances en fin de "saison", la maison était dans un état de crasse impressionnant, que ce soit les salles de bain ou la cuisine. Il y a un réel manque d'entretien au niveau propreté. Idem pour la piscine. L'eau était trouble. Mon beau-père a lui même nettoyé la piscine des feuilles et divers insectes qui s'y trouvait ! "Pros: The location and the facilities of the property. We were two families so the en suites for each bedroom were great and there was plenty of room for us to relax inside and to BBQ and eat outside. Would definitely recommend. Cons: We were able to relax on the property and also use a base to visit the beautiful villages and riverside cafes/bars of the Dordogne. Being few minutes walk from the river, we were also able to canoe and enjoy a cold drink and ice cream in the cafe/bar."

"This hotel is in an historic old Abby. The property is over 500 years old and they've done a very good job of repurposing it. The room that we stayed in was a little tired and could use some care but in general the property was nice. They did seem a bit understaffed and getting a drink at the bar was a bit of a challenge."

"Nice new room . A bit of information left out is location and street parking. The hotel is also under construction and hallways are not finished.restaurant not opened which I was planning on eating stand none in walking distance. No amenities in room for washing hair, just body soap."

"Absolutely beautiful new hotel. Warm welcome on arival and excellent show around and room check in. The room was excellent and far exceeded my expectations. Separate living area, bedroom bathroom and private terrace. Nice to have air-conditioning during the hot weather. The pool was lovely and also over seen by the bar staff who give you a bottle of chilled water when you get there. The bbq on a friday is certainly worth doing the food and cocktail were amazing 5 out of 5 for everything."

"This is beautiful and quirky hotel in an old part of the town centre of Souillac. Owners appeared to be welcoming and charismatic. Lady owner communicates in English if struggling to speak in French. Rooms presented to be very nice and clean, while beds very comfortable. Bathroom appeared to be clean but would benefit from a little renovation. There is shower in the bathtub but no rail to attach it, which was a little bit inconvenient. There is cafe and dinning room downstairs, which seems to attract a lot of locals. Breakfast is served in the dinning room, though I would personally rather have something to eat elsewhere. Hygiene standards in the dinning room are not what I am used to, and are somehow low."

"La situation de l'hôtel est un atout certain ainsi que ses nombreuses aménités. Nous avons en effet été témoins de certains problèmes rapportés dans d'autres commentaires comme la prise qui se détache. La chambre était petite, mais propre et les lits confortables. La dame au comptoir était charmante et vraiment aidante. Le sentiment est celui d'un village vacances qui souffre d'un certain vieillissement, mais notre expérience a été très bonne. Le séjour s'est très bien passé, mission accomplie."
