"The room was large and spacious. Also a large bathroom. A large comfortable bed. Adequate supplies in fridge for breakfast juice fruit yogurt etc. and coffee and tea. Bread and croissants were available in the morning. The only big drawback was the lack of lighting. There were no room lights at all!! Only bedside lights each side and a small desk light. Sitting in a chair to read, when dark outside was not possible for an older person. The desk light didn’t work at first. I found the bulb...

"Although the landlady did all what was possible, the description on Hotels.com of the accommodation offered was highly misleading. Firstly, it is not a hotel, so the reservations are not monitored, and thus our arrival at the doorstep of the house was completely unexpected. Despite the system accepting a booking online, you need to ring to check if anybody is home. There are simple rooms available in an annex building, which are basic (eg. no TV, or other comforts), it seemed suitable for summer...

"The staff here are really fantastic. Excellent communication prior to our arrival and they allocated the room early and left out key in a keysafe for our later arrival. The room was very comfortable and lovely and warm when it was storm Benjamin outside! The bathroom was very clean with a lovely hot shower. We enjoyed the breakfast overlooking the airfield prior to our departure. This hotel is very convenient for the motorway and local area. We will definitely be back as this is an ideal stop...

"La maison est très belle, décorée avec goût, notre chambre était spacieuse et la vue sur le jardin bucolique. Olivier nous a très bien accueilli et a pris le temps de répondre à toutes mes questions; il nous a donné des idées de lieux à visiter, pour notre première fois dans la Baie de Somme. Le petit déjeuner était absolument délicieux, mention spéciale pour le flan à la rhubarbe. Andrée fut une hôtesse attentionnée et sympathique. Et enfin: quel bonheur que le calme de la campagne 😊"
