"I just returned to Chicago from this quirky Hotel today! Minimal staff, no housekeeping (maybe if you specifically request it, but that would require a trip down to the front desk - NO working phones in the room). The room is truly dark with exposed electrical conduit on the unfinished concrete ceilings, 1 wall of cinderblock with dark grout, completely black bathroom, poorly lit entrance, entirely black with a partially mirrored wall & a chalk board. A dark office/ bedroom with a Murphy bed (1 block wall w/small black table desk, on black wall 3 gray ceiling height cabinets that you must stand on the bed to reach & a small open closet area) separated from the kitchen/living space by a black pocket door. There is no light over the dinning table & its cheesy plastic chairs. It has the hardest, cheapest couch & two chairs I have ever sat on! The dinning chairs were more comfortable! No end tables or coffee table in the living area. Lg TV on block wall & lg window. Needs directions for stove (no oven) - a small glass top stove that turns on if you inadvertently set a towel or something on it. It goes off automatically but it takes 5 mins. The main bedroom has a king size bed, 2 night stands each with a light - no closet but a lg window & swing door. Carpet The rooms have potential! 6th fl has a bar area, coffee area, outdoor space w/3fire pits. LL has small gym, 3 free wash/dryers, a sauna. Cute bird logo &funny art through out. Need to inform guests of amenities on 6 fl &LL"
