"Words cannot do justice to this treasure of a place tucked away on the East Bank of Luxor. It immediately transports you to another time and makes you feel absolutely at peace. Djorff Palace is the only place that truly does justice to everything Luxor has to offer—history, culture, a sense of belonging, and the most uniquely wonderful host, Dr. Marina! We stayed in the Emerald Room, waking up to the most beautiful sunrises, visible right from our balcony. Breakfast was prompt and on point, and the staff was friendly. The room and bathroom were clean, Wi-Fi worked well, and room service was delicious and prompt—especially the sweet lassi! We even spotted hoopoe birds and lizards right from our room. We also had our laundry washed, pressed, and returned the same day for a modest price. The hotel has its own felucca, offering pickups and drop-offs to and from the West Bank for a very reasonable 150 EGP (approximately $2.85 USD). When we inquired about the famous Luxor sunset felucca ride, we were offered a private ride on the hotel's felucca for just 300 EGP, which we happily accepted. We had the entire boat to ourselves, and the experience was unforgettable! Thank you, Dr. Marina, for making Luxor the best part of our Egypt trip. Truly an unparalleled stay!"

"Perfect location to get picked up on your Nile cruise, or even to stay for a few nights, it’s that great here. Pool was amazing, staff was super helpful and nice. Great view of the Nile from our room and from the pool. Go to the Egyptian/international restaurant over the Italian restaurant."

"Our stay at the Steigenberger Resort & Spa was great. It fully met our expectations of a 5-star hotel in terms of comfort, and the service from the staff was exceptional. I would, however, note that on our last night, there was a wedding reception that lasted until 11:30 PM. The music was very loud and prevented us from sleeping. After voicing our concerns to the floor manager, we found him to be empathetic; he addressed the situation immediately and brought the volume down to a reasonable level."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt like my own brother was welcoming me into his home. Mahmoud was fantastic 🌟The hospitality was warm, genuine, and unforgettable. The hotel has such beautiful, authentic Egyptian character. It’s not about luxury or being fancy—it’s about art, history, and feeling connected to the culture. Every corner has something special. The Wi-Fi was 10/10, which was honestly something I had struggled to find during my trip. And the Egyptian breakfast was delicious! The falafel, eggs, fries, vegetables, and all the different flavors were such a wonderful experience. Thank you for making my stay so special. I will be coming back to Egypt next year, and I will definitely stay at Cleopatra Hotel again. ❤️🇪🇬"
