"Great location, however the idea of being awoken earlier than anticipated by faulty air conditioning. This triggered the in room gas leak detection alarm, which the on site staff responded to quickly by turning the air conditioning unit off. Silenced the alarm, but turned a/c off, and we were the up w hours earlier than anticipated for early departure, which was the reason for staying close by. Appreciate these things happen and grateful for alarm, however presume ac had not been serviced."

"UNIQUE!!!!!?? in room 7 to turn the light on over the mirror__rotate the bulb!!! I liked that. Double aspect room. Excellent. Everything was spotless. All fixtures and fittings in the room were top quality and imacculately installed. Excellent breakfast. To nit- pic, the toilet was set too high off the floor. One less robust pillow would have been nice. There seemed to be no lighting to the front of the building, maklng it difficult to locate in the dark. I would definitely stay again."

Neither we nor the hotel manager could shut them off. One single fan provided little/no relief and room temp was + 30c degrees and never got to a comfortable temp overnight. "Very convenient location for the Royal Bath & West Showground. Owner was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was a little small but contained everything we needed and was very comfortable. We ate here on both nights of our stay and the food was great. Breakfast was also lovely. The room would benefit from a few cosmetic improvements but we would certainly stay here again."

"We stayed at The George Hotel as a midway stop that provided easy access to Bath. We had a standard twin room which was hidden in the back corridors of the hotel. The room was gloomy and in need of an upgrade. It doesn’t match any of the pictures offered by the hotel. Go for the premium rooms they may be what I saw and expected. "Lovely small place which was nice and quiet. Room was clean. Couldn’t hear any planes even though we were very close. My only problem, and it’s not about the actual accommodation, but it’s not that easy to find, being tucked away in a small lane which is difficult to see. It’s on the opposite side of the Airport Tavern and from there you need to head UP the road and past The Forge. But it is within easy walking distance of the airport, only taking approximately 10mins"
