"Good location for Largardia Airport and others. Besides the airport, it looks like they have Downtown shuttle too, convenient to sport game viewing. Breakfast is reasonable price in NYC. Spacious room, clean and quiet."

Tarrytown House Estate

"We thought the grounds were spectacular in terms of features and maintenance. However we were less impressed with our room. We were in The Rockford section of the main building in a room that was slightly below ground level. Our first issue was that the room had only one chair. Next, the room was dimly illuminated - two 'arc' lamps over the bed - one each side, and a small desk lamp. Ceiling light in the entry foyer and bathroom were efficient. Next we noted that security safe did not work - it could not accept number code number entries, even after multiple tries. We finally realized that the batteries were probably dead, so we contacted the main desk who sent an engineer, who did not have the proper screw driver head, and had to come back. He resolved the problem by replacing the batteries. Then, we noticed that the carpeting in the room was rippling in a number of areas. Then, we had a problem with the desk lamp which failed during the night, and we realized it now needed a new light-bulb. Another notification to the main desk, and an engineer with a replacement light bulb. Then, we noticed that the lights in the vanity bar over the sink had two light bulbs burned out. Then, after we had placed a "please make up room" tad on the door handle when we left at 11:00am, upon our return to the room at 4:00 pm, the room was not done; we had to notify front desk. We thought the room could greatly benefit from an overall update. Despite these issues, we would stay again."

"Only thing I didn’t like were pool hours. Only open from 2pm-10pm bc that’s when a lifeguard is there. A lifeguard at a hotel pool???? This was a first for me. I’m a 45 yr old woman and I’ll be damned if I’m gonna get in a swimming pool to relax or excerise with some 18 yr old just sitting there watching for me to drown. I also would be someone to use the pool earlier in the morning to begin my day. The exercise room was a bit lacking, but they almost always are. Why doesn’t a hotel gym ever have a bar and plates?"

"You can write: I had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The shower was amazing and definitely one of the highlights. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in very easy. I also appreciated the complimentary snacks and drinks, the convenient parking, and the reliable Wi-Fi. The location was convenient, especially with easy access to public transportation to New York City. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

"We stayed for 3 nights the hotel is huge. Sheets, rags, and towels need updated but everything else was pretty good. Those cookies are phenomenal!!! Lots of traffic once you pull out the parking lot"
