"Lovely, tidy accommodation with all needed amenities. Great communication with the staff - would definitely stay there again!"

"Sonya was lovely and welcoming. The cabins were simple but clean and tidy and had what we needed. Lovely fresh sheets and new duvee. We had sweet little calves in the paddock who were happy to come and say hello. We bought our food to cook. So used the big bbq. We could have done with some big knives but the small streak knives worked. And possibly a toaster for breakfast would have been good, but we stayed camping style and used the bbq. A lovely peaceful area and cabins tucked away for total...

"Perfect country getaway for bay of island Whangaroa expeditions Such a charm of a farm cottage, set up very well "

"A wonderful and tranquil place to stay. The hosts were wonderful and very communicative. We are so grateful for their care of us and their attention to detail. The road does go into a metal farm road, drive carefully and be rewarded by the sounds of nature and the running of a beautiful stream nearby."

"Very central to everything. Beautiful and quiet place to stay at. Hosts were lovely & friendly."

"Great spot, great host that second visit there has always been delightful to stay at so happy to make this a permanent spot for when I need to travel north and spend the night. Neighbouring restaurant was a bit of a let down sadly."

"A great apartment overlooking the water and sunset and very handy to have a washing machine/dryer even though it took hours to complete a cycle. We enjoyed cooking. We loved exploring Russell and surroundings so worth taking the car ferry from Opua (3km away) We were disappointed to discover the winery on way to Russell was closed even though advice was it was open on Wednesdays. Keri Keri is also worth a visit and a short drive north. Piahia though was the perfect place to stay."

"The hotelier at reception placed us in a really stunning 2 bedroom apartment. It was up on the top floor, completely exposed to the sparkling waters of the beach directly across the road. The front of the apartment had large bi-fold doors which opened completely out to the roomy sunny balcony. We could see the Waitangi grounds while sitting relaxing with a glass of bubbly. Kitchen was very modern and well appointed with all the things to make for a relaxing stay. Lounge, bedrooms and...

"Lovely peaceful setting but close enough to main highways for exploring the Bay of Islands. The property is exactly as in the photos. The kitchen is well equipped (pots, pans, utensils cleaning products etc) & instructions for using appliances was supplied & appreciated."

"We had the most beautiful stay here with our family of 9. we needed two of the rooms which slept 5 per room. The rooms were next to eachother and when we arrived the lovely host said they had moved the bbqs back so we could easily get to each room via the balcony instead of going out around the front. This was super helpful. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms were as well. Has all the basics you need for cooking, mini fridge, toaster, microwave and jug etc. tv in one room had sky, the...

"Lovely views of the bush, we coukd see the ocean because of overcast weather. Very comfortable modern bach. Great communication."

"Needed a relaxing home base for exploring the Northland area and Abri Apartments was a great choice. Our hosts were very welcoming and the accommodation was extremely clean and updated. Nice kitchen. Spectacular views from the living room and bedroom. Comfortable lazyboy type sofas. Commercial quality laundry and dryer which dried quickly. Great value. Would return. Highly recommend"

"The apartment itself met our needs and it was amazing being right across the road from the beach. Great kitchen facilities and lovely warm space. However, being on the bottom floor apartment means you can hear all upstairs and driveway noise which happened to be a lot during our stay and the parking is pretty tight outside the front apartments."

"Die Suite ist sehr geräumig und bietet viel Platz. Die Unterkunft ist schön gestaltet und war sehr sauber. Das Bett war gross und bequem. Insgesamt eine emphelenswerte Unterkunft."

"Great place about 8 mins walk to the center. Might discourage walking to the center on a wet evening."

"Great location, right on the main drag. Close to ammenities, right on the beach. Room very, very, clean. Host very easy to talk to, extremely friendly. A couple of gifts were left in the fridge upon our arrival, nice surprise! Night life activities not far away. Nice and private accommodations. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Gas station, grocery store just around the corner. Would definitely book here again. Highly recommended. A happy Canadian!"

"The apartment was very clean, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. The kids enjoyed the pool table. Location was great, and the space was perfect. The kitchen was great too."
