"A beautiful hotel with casitas and rooms spread around the grounds. Food was delicious, fresh and much of sourced from the farm. Staff was extremely helpful and kind, especially as we had a young baby travelling with us."

"Our stay here was amazing. The house and grounds are kept in excellent condition and the directions and communication was excellent. We drove to many areas of interest which were close by and when we wanted to have down days we enjoyed the pool. Every morning and night we were able to enjoy nature and wildlife in our backyard. The groundskeeper Noy was there for anything we needed and she provided us with a lot of information regarding the area and animals when we asked. We had a wonderful time and would love to come back to this home away from home. "

"The hotel did not match pictures. The Hotel in its day must of been a very nice hotel. Very attractive. The manager or management needs to be more professional and respectful of this business. I saw no pride in the surrounding. Firstly the pool was unusable. Brown sludge in the bottom of the pool. There was cluttered everywhere along with garbage on the ground. We got there a little early and thought we would sit by the pool until our room was ready. There was no lounge chairs. Broken cement tables were all that were there. Again dirty and weeds everywhere. We went into the very large dining room for food and coffee and got served right away. The menu was easy to read. It was so stuffy and the air quality was terrible. I had to go outside three time for fresh air. The two air conditioners were not turned on. The windows, tables, floors all needed cleaning. Very dirty. Again no pride of ownership. There was a Chinese man laying on a couch playing on his phone. Not sure what his job was or entailed. He was not energetically involved. With dirty hands and finger nails he received payment for our food. A lot of clutter behind the counter. Messy and dirty. The one lady was nice and helpful. Now for the hotel room. It took five minutes to get hot water and then no water pressure. The room definitely needed a lot of TLC. We got two towels. That’s it. The bed and pillows had no mattress protector same for the pillows. The TV was fairly easy to use but very difficult "

"Ruben welcomed us to the house personally then gave us our privacy after that. He answered all questions and requests promptly, but his house was a JEWEL in the Nicoya area. My wife's family is from Nicoya and we have stayed in the area 35 years. Ruben's house WOWED us. It blended into the tropical landscape, was only one floor, but was HUGE. This house was built by a very good architect. The huge doors and all the windows being able to be open pushed a breeze through the entire home. The house was very clean, and it was MUCH MORE than we anticipated for the area. We are coming back for sure. Ruben has already indicated that we are more than welcome."

"We enjoyed this house. It was so comfortable and having the extra pullout beds was so convenient. The pool was so perfect and kids really enjoyed it. Traveling into town to eat was so easy and finding the property off the highway was easy as well. We really enjoyed our days at this house. "
